너무 급작스레 배가불러 배부름을 주체하지 못한다.
너무 급작스레 자유를 누리게 되어 그 자유를 주체하지 못한다.
시기와 질투심과 분노로 인해 지금 가지고 있는 배부름과 자유가 얼마
나 소중한지 모른다. 얼마나 이루기 어렵고 지키기 어렵다는 것을 모른
다. 그래서 파괴하고 싶어한다.
나 먹지 못하는 떡 너도 못먹게 하자.
이 헛점을 빨간 독사가 아주 요령있게 파고 들고 있다.

Jay! It seems to me that freedom and economic prosperity had made Koreans so proud of themselves with a haughty spirit. It is not an old story that Koreans have become so arrogant and even cruel to other Asian peoples, including their own people living in China and any other countries. The main reason why they became so arrogant in such a short period might be they were so poor in the past. As you know, once the poor suddenly became rich, he wants to swagger about his possession and wealth to show off to others. In fact, they have put money before any other things, even family, home, nation, even God.
Jay ! 내가 보기엔 자유와 경제적 번영이 한국인들로 하여금 오만한 마음을 가질 정도로 그렇게 잘난체하게 만들었습니다. 한국인들이 아주 거만하게 되었고 심지어 다른 아시아인들이나 중국동포 등에는 잔혹하기조차 한 것은 오래전 얘기가 아닙니다.
그들이 그러한 ?은 기간내에 그렇게 거만하게 된 주된 이유는 그들이 과거에 아주 가난했었기 때문인지도 모릅니다. 당신도 알다시피, 이전에 가난했던 사람이 갑자기 부자가 되면 자기소유와 부를 남에게 자랑하기 위하여 으시대고 싶어합니다. 실제로 그들은 다른 어떤 것 보다 돈을 앞세웠고, 심지어 가족, 가정, 국가 그리고 하나님보다 앞세우기까지 했습니다.
Consequently, morality has lost its hold on the Koreans, patriotism has gone, and selfishness has flourished everywhere in the society. They ignored what the Bible said in 1 Timothy 6, “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
그 결과, 한국인들에 있어 윤리도덕이 힘을 잃어버렸고, 애국심은 식어갔고, 그리고 이기주의는 사회도처에 넘치게 되었습니다. 그들은 디모데전서 6장의 말씀을 무시했습니다.
