Korean Air's Dangerous Domestic Flight(부추연 성명서)

It was nine thirty in the morning January 10. Korean Air 7977 departed
a dangerous flight from Inchon International Airport to Kimhae International Airport.

Korean Air imported flight 7977 whose capacity was equipped with 53 rows of seats, 5 seats per row. We noticed that they had removed all the seats, and added an additional 4 rows to the pre-existing 53, creating a total of 57 rows.
The Korean Airlines also have added one seat extra per row of 5 seats, creating a row of 6. By adding the additional rows and seats they have created an additional 75 seats. You might wonder what is the big problem with that? By adding the additional seats, you increase passengers and luggage, therefore capacity goes up. Korean air has gone way over its desired capacity. Korean Air's marketing department has done a good job this time, more seats, more money! They have created a dangerous comercial domestic plane for profit, while passengers are scared and uncomforable. We were really scared!

As soon as we got in the plane we were terrified seeing the horrible seat arrangement. Passengers could hardly move their arms and legs because the seats were moved so close together. The corridor was so narrow that beverage service was not properly handled either.

So not only was the plane uncomfortable and dangerous, the price was high. Buy putting customers in a dangerous environment, they made 24,360,000\, one way.( A ticket cost 70,000\ per person one way). Leaving an increase in profit of 4,390,000\ for a one way trip. Its scary to see people risking other's lives for an increase of profit.

The over weighted plane arrived at Pusan and landed at Kimhae International Airport. As the plane was landing, it went up and down, jerking and tumbling, because of its mass weight increase. We were relieved when the plane finally came to a land. So who is responsible for this? There is no doubt in our minds that the Ministry of Construction and Transportation is responsible. Shame on the Ministry and Korean Airlines! Poor Passengers!!!

위험천만한 KAL

1월 10일 오전 9시 30분 서울발 부산행 KAL 7599는 위험천만한
비행을 했다. 비행기를 들여올 때 의자 줄이 53개 였는데 57개로
늘리고 줄 당 의자가 5개였던것을 6개로 늘려 콩나물 비행기로
개조했다.
그 결과 정원이 71명이나 초과했고 의자도 71개나 늘어났다.
안전 수칙을 크게 위반한 비행이다. 승객 71명과 의자 71개를
더 싣고 하늘을 나르는 배짱! 간담을 서늘하게 했다.
콩나물시루 비행기이니 서비스도 엉망이다. 만일에 무슨 일이
일어나면? 아비규환이다. 이런 곡예비행을 하면서 1인당 7만원씩
받아 2,400 만원을 챙겼다. 정원초과, 하중초과 비행기는 착륙할
때 안다. 덜커덩, 덜커덩... 정말 아슬아슬한 비행이었다.
아시아나도 마찬가지인데 이런 죽기 아니면 살기 비행을 눈 감아
주는 주범이 "건설교통부"
