I do not think that any of the details he mentioned in the press statement regarding his personal life are relevant to the content of my letter or what should be important to voters in choosing the right candidate for an educational leader.
He can choose to say what he wants, but in my opinion, the public is not the appropriate place to pick at petty details of personal relationships about what is true and not true. I do not wish to participate in it.
I am a fully-grown 27-year-old adult with my own opinions and the capacity to make my own judgments.
I do not harbor any anger toward him. My sole intention of writing the open letter was to inform Seoul‘s citizens that the man never partook in the education of his own children, mentally or financially. I believed this to be relevant to elections for the Superintendent of Education. I have said what I believed voters should know and it is up to them to determine what information is useful to them.
I trust and hope that they will make the right decision for their city.

것을 서울 시민들에게 알리는 것이었습니다.
저는 이것이 교육감 선거와 연관이 있는 것이라고 생각합니다. 저는 유권자들이
알아야 한다고 믿는 것을 말한 것이고 어떤 정보가 유용한지를 결정하는 것은
전적으로 그들에게 달려있습니다.
저는 사람들이 그들의 도시를 위해 제대로 된 의사 결정을 하기를 믿고 바랍니다.
